phpMyAdmin is a free software tool written in PHP designed to handle the administration of MySQL over the web. phpMyAdmin supports extensive operations on MySQL and MariaDB. Common operations (managing databases, tables, columns, relationships, indexes, users, permissions, etc.) can be performed through the user interface, while you can still execute any SQL statement directly.
phpMyAdmin comes with extensive documentation, and users are welcome to update our wiki pages to share ideas and methods for various operations. If you encounter any problems, the phpMyAdmin team will try to help you; you can use various support channels to get help.
phpMyAdmin is a mature project with a stable and flexible codebase; you can learn more about the project, its history and awards. When the project turns 15, we publish a celebratory page.
The phpMyAdmin project is a member of the Software Freedom Protection Association. SFC is a non-profit organization that helps promote, improve, develop, and defend Free, Free and Open Source Software (FLOSS) projects.
