Registry optimizer is a software that finds and repairs all the problems in Windows Registry. This tool is programmed specifically to look through the registry and correct any errors because it can be almost impossible for a person to manually correct all the errors in the Windows Registry.

When initiated, registry optimizer will scan the Windows registry and show a list of errors it discovers; it is not unusual for this list to contain thousands of entries. The user can then either solve each issue individually or have the optimizer fix all the problems automatically. The most common method of repair is to remove the outdated entries.
