Likewise, if you think you need to bind your document in a folder, you may want to leave wider space around to text for allow for punching or glue-binding. With Microsoft Word you have the option to customize the margins (this is the empty border left between your text and the edges of the sheet of paper on all sides).<br \/>\nHere is how to increase or decrease the margins in Microsoft Word:<\/p>\n<p>Step One: Open your document in MS Word.
