Combined with the default windows notifications, they simply become too much. Especially when you are in a work environment, you may want to stop at least the sound on notifications on the third party apps on your computer.<br \/>\nHere is how to stop sounds on notifications from apps in Windows 8:<\/p>\n<p>Step One. Swipe or use Ctrl + C to open the menu. Select \u201dSearch\u201d:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1954\" src=\"https:\/\/www.filepuma.com\/reviews\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/AYJGH516543f85710b036803703372.png\" alt=\"01\" width=\"285\" height=\"562\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Step Two.
