NetBalancer is a Windows application for local network traffic control and monitoring. Browse and do any internet activity comfortably on your PC even when your download manager or torrent client downloads huge files from internet - just lower their network priority with NetBalancer.

NetBalancer can be used to set download and upload transfer rates by prioritizing which applications need them the most. An application with a higher network priority will get more traffic bandwidth than an application with a lower network priority. The main difference between NetBalancer and other traffic monitoring software is that NetBalancer works by priority, so if other high-priority applications do not use your network, low-priority applications will not be restricted.

When the balancing operation is performed, the problem begins. In the initial stage of the balance, the bandwidth may be quite unstable until the program finds a suitable medium (at this time your needs may have changed). The point here is that the program may be slow to respond to bandwidth changes, but it is definitely better than having to close the application.

NetBalancer helps ensure that no program takes up your bandwidth-just don't expect it to respond immediately.
