Sweet Home 3D is a free, easy to learn 3D modeling program with a few simple tools to let you create 3D models of houses, sheds, home additions and even space ships. The program allows you to place your furniture on a house 2D plan, with a 3D preview. Apart from being a very useful interior design application, it's also a hell of a lot of fun, allowing you to mix and match furniture with ease.

The home and interior design program offers more than 50 different pieces of furniture, ranging from beds to lamps and desk table. In order to create your rooms smoothly, all you need to do is drag and drop elements into the grid view. To make further efforts, the latest version adds a new level of realism which includes a new ability to handle rounded walls. You can create walls of desired dimensions and directions, use textures for your walls, hang paintings on them and much more.

Key Features:

Draw straight, round or sloping walls with precise dimensions using the mouse or the keyboard.

Insert doors and windows in walls by dragging them in the plan, and let Sweet Home 3D compute their holes in walls.

Add furniture to the plan from a searchable and extensible catalog organized by categories such as kitchen, living room, bedroom, bathroom...

Change color, texture, size, thickness, location and orientation of furniture, walls, floors and ceilings.

While designing the home in 2D, simultaneously view it in 3D from an aerial point of view, or navigate into it from a virtual visitor point of view.

Annotate the plan with room areas, dimension lines, texts, arrows and show the North direction with a compass rose.

Print and export PDFs, bitmap or vector graphics images, videos and 3D files in standard file formats.

Fixed a regression that prevented to easily select an object placed in a selected room.
